I often get emailed questions about broadband So I have decided to tell you all about two of the largest providers within the uk. TalkTalk & BTg(16394256)a(1273761)) - Free Broadband Vs Broadband and bundled extra's
Now if your looking for the lowest cost provider coupled with fast speed TalkTalk come out as the clear winners. They provide a very fast 8Mb service at an extremly competitive price. The downside however is that their customer service department in the past hasnt been up to scratch. However TalkTalk have stated that they have spent considerable amounts of money on improving their call centres. BT are a good all-rounder while they do not compete on price they do compete on level of service. They have loads of cool extras like their digital volt which automatically backs up your computer & the BT Vision TV service, and BT Openworld which is their Wifi HotSpot service. Remember if your an existing BT broadband customer it can never hurt to examine the competition! BT want your custom and will throw in the added extra's like free Wifi & TV if they think you might leave to one of their cheaper competitors like TalkTalk. All in all if your looking for cheap and cheerful TalkTalk are a good option. If you want Extra then go for BT. |
