Credit card company’s make money on every purchase you make. They charge retailers a small amount of money on every transaction they process. To entice you to use there cards some of these companies pass on some of that money to you.

Here are some of our favourite card companies which pay you for spending on their cards. American Express pay a wopping 5% on every purchase you make

EGG Money pay back 1% on all purchases while isn’t as good as American express still represents a good deal.

On average I earn about £100 cashback a year.

Now the best way to use these cards is to set up a Direct debit paying off the balance in full each month and only spend what you would usually spend in cash!
